After navigating the stress, confusion, and uncertainty of our own recruiting journeys, we saw firsthand how difficult the college recruitment process can be—especially without proper guidance. That experience is what led us, Guillermo Gasset Ruiz and Shay Roban, to create College Athlete Network.

We believe no athlete should have to go through the recruiting process alone. With that belief at the core, we built College Athlete Network with one simple goal: to make college recruitment more understandable, accessible, and achievable for as many athletes as possible. That vision has grown into a mentorship nonprofit that supports and educates high school athletes through one-on-one mentorship, pairing them with driven, knowledgeable, and caring current college athletes who have recently walked the same path.
